Analytics is your choice

With your permission, Atoms uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits, which product pages people explore, and how the website is used. This can include page URLs and titles, referring websites, approximate location, browser and device information, and engagement with the site.

We only load Google Analytics after you select Accept analytics. If you reject analytics, we do not load it or send analytics events to Google. Advertising consent remains off.

Cookies and your preference

After acceptance, Google Analytics may store cookies such as _ga and _ga_Y9WDV7G7SQ to distinguish visitors and sessions. We save your consent choice in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days so we can remember it across visits. This preference storage works independently of analytics.

You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. It does not erase data previously collected.

Google and your data

Google processes analytics information and may process it outside your country. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites for more information.

When you sign up, we use your email address to send a confirmation request and, after you confirm, a quarterly newsletter about app updates and new developments. We record when you requested and confirmed your subscription and the version of the consent wording. Your email is encrypted in a private database on our PHP hosting and is accessible through a server-authenticated admin area.

Unconfirmed requests expire after 48 hours and are removed during subsequent newsletter activity. We keep confirmed subscriptions until you unsubscribe or request removal. Every newsletter must include your individual unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes your address from the active database; copies may remain in hosting backups until those backups expire. Our hosting and email delivery providers process information needed to store and deliver these messages.

To limit abuse, we temporarily keep keyed hashes of request identifiers for up to 24 hours; we do not store raw IP addresses in the subscriber database. Hosting access logs may separately record requests, so hosting log access and retention also need to be managed. Essential, secure session cookies are used for admin login. Newsletter consent is separate from analytics consent.
