Mabus Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is handled when you use Mabus, connect Apple Music, contact us for support, or visit the Mabus website.

Information stored in the app

Mabus stores your selected album and app preferences only on your device. There is no separate Mabus account, and Atoms does not receive this information.

The visualizer uses locally stored, silent visual media. Mabus does not collect, track, sell, or share personal data.

Apple Music and MusicKit

If you choose to connect Apple Music, authorization, subscription status, catalog information, album artwork, track information, and playback are handled by Apple through MusicKit.

Mabus does not read your music library, playlists, favorites, or listening history. It does not download, cache, record, export, upload, or share Apple Music audio. Apple Music access is requested only after you choose to connect it.

Information we may receive

If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, message, screenshots, or attachments.

Apple may provide limited crash or diagnostic information if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers. Our website may also process standard server-log or analytics information needed to operate, secure, and understand use of the site.

How we use information

We use information we receive to respond to support requests, diagnose problems, improve reliability and performance, operate and secure our app and website, comply with legal obligations, and protect our users, services, and rights.

We do not sell personal information or use your Mabus activity for advertising.

Sharing

Apple Music authorization, catalog information, artwork, subscription status, and playback are handled by Apple under your Apple account and Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

We may share support, website, or diagnostic information with service providers who help us host, maintain, secure, or support our services, but only where reasonably necessary. We may also disclose information if required by law or when necessary to protect users, our services, or our legal rights.

Retention and deletion

Your selected album and app preferences remain on your device until you change them, remove the app and its data, or reset the relevant settings.

We keep support and diagnostic information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, operate our services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our services.

Your choices

You can use Mabus as a silent standalone visualizer without connecting Apple Music. You can manage Media & Apple Music access and analytics permissions in your Apple device settings.

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have shared directly with us, subject to applicable law.
